The Brewhouse

The lake Kalterer See, nestled in the vineyards of South Tyrol, is widely known for its viticulture. However, beer is also starting to make a name for itself in this region. At the heart of this renowned wine-growing area, in the cellar of the Moser Winery, there is a fine regional brewery that crafts special beers. In this gem, one can taste and purchase both wine and beer. The cellar master, Gerhard Sanin, celebrated as a wine expert, brews typical pale and wheat beers as well as experimental varieties such as the innovative red pepper beer. The Mendel beers have since garnered various awards.
